When they came up with the name “House of Stella” which pays homage to the beloved family cat, Stella, they just knew they had to have a store. It’s a mother and daughter team in fact, they are the only people you will ever see working the store. Felicia, the matriarch, is a freelance interior decorator, and Stacy graduated with a fashion design and merchandising degree. They put their brains together to form a business mixing together their loves for all things interior and fashion design.

Their main purpose for starting the business is to offer clothing and vintage, hand painted furniture that you can’t find anywhere else for a reasonable price. You will often times find them in the back of the store, somewhat disheveled, sewing or painting furniture. It’s a living, breathing store with a lot of character. The same goes for everything that is inside.  It’s the store to come to not only to shop but it is a place to get to know the family as well. It is like you are walking into their home. If you need custom work done or if you simply need to sit down and chat for awhile it is encouraged and welcomed.
